Powered by actual infra-red driven night vision technology this clever piece of kit allows clear visibility in even complete pitch dark environments, making an easy task of search and surveillance at night.
The goggles’ screen is purposefully coloured green as the human eye can differentiate more shades of green than other phosphor colours, but can also be adjusted to black and white. The sleek futuristic design of the durable head piece also adds to the fun, while the soft rubber moulding around the eyes and adjustable top and side straps ensure a snug fit that is comfortable and easy to wear.
The night vision goggles use monocular vision (just one eye) with a handy flip-up eye-piece over the left eye providing immediate access to normal vision should you become disorientated or need to take a break from viewing. There is even the option to change the mode of sight. Maximum Surveillance Mode operates the goggles at full power and emits a barely visible ring of red light allowing optimum vision in darkness.
